1974 FORD 4000

Here is a real good 57 HP Diesel 2WD Ford 4000 Tractor. 958 Hours showing and hours may not be working but we will check. Runs and operates great for its age – see video. Engine has very good 50 PSI oil pressure as shown.
Our shop topped off fluids and did the inspection report below.

Inspection Report:
It does steer and it has a little power steering as shown in the video but the steering orbital valve leaks at the steering wheel so it works when fluid is added. But then it leaks out - so the video was done 3 days after it was previously filled so there wasn’t much fluid in it. A new or rebuilt steering orbital valve last time we checked was about $800. Our shop does not have the time to work on this so we will take -$1,300 of the $7,800 price to cover time and labor to have it done yourself if you wish. So that’d put your price at just $6,500.

Other notes: Brakes good, clutch is good and the trans. shifts good. PTO and 3-Point both work and the 3-Point has draft control. Tire tread very good as shown with rear Firestone 13.6x28 Max Traction Field & Road tires on back. Fronts 7.50x16’s.
