Description
Here is a 1940 John Deere L vintage antique collector tractor that is a hand crank start (with crank) but we start it by pulling it for now. No engine smoke and good oil pressure. It has been parked here for about 6 months so we will will check the carb. before starting again. The tractor was last used to run a front attached sprayer on it and the front sprayer stayed with the farmer in case he needed it again.
Tires were all brand new within the last year and 99% with nubbies still on the rear tires. 1940 serial # 634133. This has the Hercules Gas Engine in it as was in all the L models 625000 to serial # 634840.
U.S. Delivery available from TN for about .90 mile one-way if over 500 miles. Local / regional delivery $1-$3 per mile one-way.
We will consider trades of trac tors, construction equipment, doz ers, ski d load ers, A T Vs, U T Vs and pre-1979 cars and trucks (parked in a barn).
Financing is available with business and farm rates available 5% to 8% in general. Rates on consumer / personal equipment loans currently from 7% to 8% on good 650+ scores. We can also sometimes work with scores down to 550 at higher rates.
